How We Help
A Legacy of Protecting Connecticut Properties Since 1975
Enviroshield was founded in 1975 by Edward G. “Skip” Kost III, originally operating as Armor Shield of Connecticut — a company dedicated to tank lining and environmental protection services. What began as a small family-run business quickly earned a reputation for reliable service and strong environmental stewardship throughout Connecticut and surrounding regions.
In the early years, Armor Shield specialized in tank lining and industrial/commercial protection. As environmental regulations expanded and the need for specialized compliance services grew, the company evolved to meet those demands.
From Armor Shield to Enviroshield
As the scope of environmental services increased and clients required broader expertise, the company expanded beyond tank lining. Armor Shield of Connecticut officially rebranded as Enviroshield, reflecting our commitment to safeguarding both properties and the environment.

Today, that legacy continues under the leadership of Dani Novoli-Santos, who has been with the company for more than half a decade. Starting as Operations Manager and working closely with Skip, Dani gained hands-on experience managing complex projects, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.
